The Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities Orphan Ministry will be hosting our 2nd Annual “Heart for the Fatherless” Conference on Nov. 12 & 13, 2010. This is the only free adoption/orphan conference in the Eastern Washington/Oregon region that we are aware of. Last year, we experienced firsthand the unfilled demand that this conference addresses. In 2009, our first conference was attended by over 100 attendees and 18 presenters. We received a resoundingly positive response and were encouraged to continue providing this free conference as part of our ministry. We are already being contacted by many potential new partner ministries for the 2010 conference. This year we are praying that the number of conference attendees will double to over 200.

Preregistration is required and yes we are providing limited free childcare on a first come first serve basis. You can register online here.

Another bit of feedback we received from attendees was to expand the conference timeframe. Therefore, this year, in addition to the half-day workshop time on Saturday, we have been called/led to expand the conference to include a keynote address on Friday evening.

Heart For The Fatherless conference.

Jason oversees the development and implementation of content and programs for Hope for Orphans website www.hopefororphans.org. Jason also is the author of the book Launching an Orphans Ministry in Your Church and he and his wife, Trisha, are co-authors of the FamilyLife Homebuilders Bible Study entitled Considering Adoption: A Biblical Perspective.
